1.) For this project, we were partnered up with one (rarely two) other students to create a working, playable board game that had one movable piece that required a switch as well as one parrelell circuit. This was we had a board game we could take home and play with our family at some point.
2.) To avoid insulting anyone, in case my partner for some reason reads my Digital Portfolio i will be only saying that my partner was... interesting.
3.)I really wish we had like 2 months for this project so i could hand engrave the board game path, but for the time i had and the work i had to do i was very happy with it.
4.) For this project, I definitely learned how to work when partners/colleges won't carry any weight, especially not their own. I also learned how to shim something or use triangle cut word to even out sides of a box or just a side in general.

Durban is a major economic hub, residing on the coast of the country where the waters of Indian ocean. Durban is the third largest city in the South African area.
The weather in Durban is quite warm. During the winter the temperatures range from the low 60’s to the mid 70’s, and in the midsummer it resides in the low 80’s and 90’s.This warmth is quite a gift, since Durban is located on the long 2,500 km long coastline of South Africa.
“With the end of apartheid, Durban was subject to restructuring of local government. The eThekwini Metropolitan Municipality (a metropolitan municipality) was formed in 1994 after South Africa's first multiracial elections, with its first mayor being Sipho Ngwenya. The mayor is elected for a five-year term; however Sipho Ngwenya only served two years.” The government has been under a lot of consistent controversy over certain unexplained choices. The first mayor was a man named Sipho Ngwenya who, although mayors have a term of five years, only served for two (reasons unspecified). James Nxumalo is the current mayor. The Durban riots of 1948 were riots by the Black-Africans in the durban area, when they believed that the Indian-Africans and rioted against them. The Indians did not rebel. Then in 1985, the Black-Africans once again attacked for the same reasons. This time police had to control both Black-Africans and Indian-African vigilantes from each other. Gang wars are a very “popular” conflict in durban. “Local” drug dealers and “foreign” drug dealers of a heroin based drug - Wunga - have, what is called, “gang wars”. Many are injured in these “wars” and occasionally die. The most famous was the Wunga Turf war in september of 2013 a little less than a year before the possession of the drug was illegal. Other than these drug problems, major conflicts consist of a high poverty rate, that many people of lack of dignity for, as well as the 82 tons of sulfur dioxide that is produced every day from just one refinery, and there are many refineries that produce the same average daily.
Much of Durbans modern art is made to reflect the geographical area. The food in durban is like any other area, it varies for everyone’s tastes. Some famous foods are Shisa Nyama, which literally translates to burnt meat, and it’s just barbequed meat; as well and “Bunny Chow” which - despite the name - is not made from bunnies, but from Curry inside hollowed out bread. Durban is home to Juma Musjid Mosque, the largest Mosque in the southern hemisphere, as well as their city hall, built in 1910, is more than likely the city’s most famous heritage landmark.
From Durban, there are a lot of great things that have come from it (as well as bad), just like every location. In my opinion Bunny Chow is one of the most amazing things to come from Durban, not to mention that it’s a major tourist attraction for things like it’s beach or it’s blend of cultures and architecture that make this South African city amazing (Durban Tourism: BEst of Durban, South Africa).
