The Thirteen Reasons Why project was a project that aligned with our humanities project. The point was to write a poem about what made you happy then trade the poem with a partner. My poem was about writing and creativity, so my partner took a picture of an eye to symbolize "creativity is in the eye of the beholder".
My partner's poem was about their favorite food, Hot Cheetos, and a section of the poem described hot the spicy seasonings cause it to burn on the way down, so I chose to take this picture of ice water to depict the description of how spicy the food is.
The picture uses the rule of thirds, negative space and mild clear leading lines while still drawing attention to the main idea. In the end the image met the requirements - and although the project itself could have been done differently on my side - I'm content enough with the out come.
